1. Preliminary investigation of the cause of water leakage.

If the pressure is too tight, use tweezers to bend upwards. If the distance between the bimetallic sheet and the switch contact rod is normal, the switch box should be opened for inspection.
2. Check if the leakage is related to contact.
Next, check if there is any buildup on the electric heating tube and if the power plug socket between the base and the pot body is in good contact. If it is the former, it can be scraped with a knife first and then polished with fine sandpaper. If it is the latter, the plug contact piece, contact oxide layer, and dirt can be removed first, and then the shape can be corrected to make the two in close contact.
3. Check if the leakage is a problem with the temperature sensor.
Next, check if the reset switch is faulty. The main reason is that the temperature sensing plate is severely deformed or the action of the switch linkage is hindered. If it is the former, the protruding angle of the temperature sensing tongue can be bent again to push the switch linkage to work normally. If it is the latter, it is necessary to identify the obstructed area or foreign object. Generally, as long as the foreign object is removed and the position is corrected, normal operation can be restored.
4. Check if the leakage is a pipeline issue.
Look at the indicator light. If the indicator light is on, it indicates that the power supply has been connected to the indicator light circuit, and the fault is in the electric heating tube or its connection part. Common damage and poor contact of electric heating pipes. Remove the electric heating tube and measure its resistance value. Poor contact is mainly due to severe corrosion or deformation of the contact spring in the power plug component. The switch box can be disassembled for cleaning and maintenance, and severely damaged parts can be replaced.
